New Pressings: The Riviera Collection

There is a moment on the coastal road between France and Italy when the sea seems to change colour at every turn.

Deep Mediterranean blue opens into turquoise. The water in a sheltered cove looks almost like glass. Further along, the greens grow richer. It is never quite the same view twice.

The Riviera Collection follows that journey in seven Digital Vinyl colours. A little of the coastline, pressed into the way your music looks.

From midnight to the shallows.

Mediterranean Deep begins at the darker end of the palette. Côte d’Azur brings in the blue, and Cap Ferrat carries it towards turquoise. Menton Glass softens everything into sea-glass aqua.

Then come the deeper blue-greens of Ligurian Teal and Emerald Cove, before Riviera Foam finishes the journey in a milky pale aqua.

A colour. A place.
A record that feels like yours.

Made to be vinyl.

Five of these pressings use our translucent coloured vinyl: light catches the edge, and the platter beneath becomes part of the colour. Menton Glass and Riviera Foam have a softer, opaque finish. The names describe their inspiration; these are digital materials, not photographs of the sea.

We wanted the coast to be a feeling, rather than an ocean picture pasted over a record. The groove, the label and the light still do the work.

You can try every colour in Digital Vinyl, find them in The Deck’s vinyl palette, or choose one while creating a MixDisc. Changing the colour in the public listening room leaves your saved records untouched.

A growing pressing archive.

Coffee & Cream gave us a family of warm browns, from Vanilla Cream to Espresso. Riviera takes us somewhere cooler. Each collection is a small invitation to look at an album differently.

These are Digital Vinyl finishes for the VinylStack player. They are not physical records for sale.
